“My number-one piece of advice for brands considering launching resale now is to make it feel like an extension of your existing brand and sales channels… While the program grew naturally at the beginning, it really took off once we made Second Act easily accessible via the existing M.M. homepage and integrated resale more consistently into our owned marketing. Based on the immediate uptick we saw, it was obvious that our audience was interested in resale but didn’t even realize we had a program to facilitate it.” - Katie Twidwell, VP of Operations and Sales at M.M.LaFleur Learn more about how our first brand partner, M.M.LaFleur uses their resale program to acquire new customers, retain old customers, and grow the M.M.Lafleur brand both online and in-person: https://lnkd.in/gc8_WM-6

Coming off of GreenBiz Group's #Circularity24 and Global Fashion Agenda's GFS conference, our team recalled a recent article from The Interline about the fashion industry's shift from product-centric to service-centric models for sustainable growth. It highlights how services like repairs, upcycling, cleaning, and renting can generate revenue while reducing environmental impact. This shift treats consumer closets as new "production" sources, raising questions about managing unpredictable inventory and revenue. We believe our team is the bridge between unpredictability and scalability with technology that offers complete control of a brand's resale program, helping to keep clothing out of landfills. We understand that growth goals need to be decoupled from production in the pursuit of waste reduction. We also recognize the unpredictable nature of secondhand inventory, so we've built our technology to provide brands the control and visibility needed to run a profitable resale program while extending the life of garments. Our aim is to create a world where shopping secondhand really is as easy as buying new. What solutions are you looking for in a service-centric world? https://lnkd.in/drXifndP
