$100k/mo. That's how much MANY companies spent in the 2021 heydey of influencer marketing. Too many. I think it's time to bring the creator marketing strategy back. Just... more thoughtfully. I envision a SaaS company's creator partners like members of its sales team: → Enable with great collateral → Provide strategic advice but not micromanagement → Give direction and encouragement → Timely updates and commission payments → Leaderboards to enable competition Another reason why having a sales leadership background is SUPER helpful for leading a marketing org.

The journey of bootstrapping Aware B2B hasn't been a straight line upward. We realized: a lot of people have VERY bad habits. One of those is thinking you need to be *always on* when it comes to LinkedIn. This is difficult. As a SaaS company? We want to help our users get what they want. But we also want to coach them on what WE THINK they should want. And I can tell you that systematically engaging with posts minutes after they go live, is NT a recipe for demonstrating credibility. Worse: to me, it's a sign you don't have enough to do. Sure, there are exceptions. But the typical executive? They're not bookmarking when their creators post, and trying to be "first". P.S. If you're not an executive... you can still think/act like one :)

Imagine getting paid back on CAC within weeks, not months or years. That's the power of a fine-tuned Creator Marketing program. But you can't just cowboy up and expect success. You need to: → Choose the RIGHT creators, not based on size but based on alignment with your value prop → Look for quality of community, in terms of budget and interest level - how zealous are their followers about this creator's content? → Pay in the right way and mechanism. Heavy fixed fee contracts don't serve anyone well. Design payment contracts sustainably. And more 👇

What worked for outbound 10 years ago won't help you hit your number today. How do I know? I was an outbound pioneer in the late 2010's and ran a 7 figure SDR agency for years. But during the pandemic I co-founded Aware, a LinkedIn engagement SaaS, because I saw that things were different: → Being part of the same ecosystem as your buyers, engaging with them socially over time, and not just hammering the same automated emails, was the answer. That's what started working super well back in 2018-2019, and it became DRAMATICALLY more necessary in 2020 onward. Where to from here? My friends over at Apollo.io found 300+ sales pros (including yours truly), GTM operators and thought leaders and interviewed us all to discover: • What’s working in outbound today? • What trends need to die? • What’s on the horizon that sellers and GTM pros need to be aware of? This ain't no run of the mill ebook.... it's EXTREMELY *detailed* and uses lots of conversation transcripts from my own personal LinkedIn inbox, examples, screenshots, and other juicy things I've never shared before. Here's the direct link to the social selling chapter of the academy book: https://lnkd.in/e6tfCahw #gtm #salesexcellence #ApolloOutbound #OutboundSales

Building my personal brand in public and showing how you can do the same - Co-Founder & COO @ Voxen

My strategy to keep engaging with other creators. (It only takes me 20-ish minutes per day) My day only has 24 hours, so I need to choose between: - Keep growing my agency - Keep growing my LinkedIn profile I could prepare all my posts during the weekend (which I do), but the reality is: it's not enough. Engaging and building a network is the secret sauce. Without this, the magic simply does not happen. I had to find a smart solution to keep everything in place and running → Aware This is exactly what I do: 1. Boot up Aware and open "My Lists" ↳ Create a new list ↳ Add people who write great posts ↳ Add peeps who keep showing up under my posts (I appreciate you🤝) 2. Go back to "My List" and engage ↳ All the recent posts of the profiles added to the list now appear here ↳ I scroll, think of something relevant/funny, and engage 3. Rinse and repeat ↳ Found new creators? I update the list ↳ Keep supporting my network ↳ Expand it with new people It's THAT easy. Once the setup is done, it only takes me around 20 minutes per day. PRO TIP: Want to keep everything neat and tidy? Build more lists and label them. How do you interact with your network?

Boom: Aware is featured in the launch of the Pocus Signal Marketplace! https://lnkd.in/dDZtJudh If you're not using LinkedIn engagement signals as part of your GTM motion, and syncing all of that activity to Salesforce or Hubspot CRM, you're missing out. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 1. Setup your Aware workspace to log completed Tasks to your CRM for your desired LinkedIn activities 2. Add the desired Aware fields from CRM to your Pocus workspace in data setup 3. Add these signals to your existing Playbooks and scores or create new ones 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 Aware’s signals can help you: 1. Identify leads who are actively engaging with your LinkedIn posts 2. Target ICPs who are commenting on leadership’s posts 3. Create account-based outreach using LinkedIn lead magnets --- I'll write a more update on this soon, but: This is a good time for me to say that our Hubspot integration is live in early release stage, for select customers of Aware :) Onwards and upwards. -Alex

✅ Useaware Gold in meiner Morgenroutine!

HubSpotters, let AI take over sales admin to spend more time sellling | Co-founder @ Sellestial

Posting regularly on LinkedIn? Try this tool. I learned about Aware a few weeks ago during Richard van der Blom talk I attended. If you are among the 1% of LinkedIn users who actively post on LinkedIn, you want to engage with people who react to your posts. Jasmin Alić is advocating that commenting on other posts is what will help you be successful on LinkedIn. One of the takeaways from Richard’s and Jasmin’s talks was that I need to make sure I comment on others’ posts as much as I humanly can and respond to every comment on my posts. This is where a tool like Aware comes super handy. It helps you: - Quickly reply to all comments left on your posts - Collect recent posts from LinkedIn users who engage with you the most - See who are your top engagers and with whom you mostly engage with What are your tricks for making as many comments as you can? ♻️ Found this useful? Comment and repost for your network.  🔔 Follow me to learn more AI Sales Tech and HubSpot tips and tricks
