The root cause has been identified as a faulty update from CrowdStrike, a prominent cybersecurity firm. Many Windows PCs are experiencing the "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD), causing system crashes and boot loops. Impact and Scope Microsoft 365 apps and services were initially affected but have largely recovered. CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor software update is the primary culprit, affecting Windows hosts globally. The outage has led to flight delays, banking disruptions, and issues in various sectors.
