  • The next Trailblazer, Paul Tonnesen, embodies true vision and commitment! Paul has been a staunch supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County (BGCDC) for nearly 13 years, championing our mission and vision with unwavering dedication. Paul's journey with BGCDC began when our CEO, Michael Johnson called him up to ask for support and to invite him to tour our Club on Taft Street while he was the CEO of Fiskars. Within a month of that tour, Paul and Fiskars renovated the computer lab at that location, organized more than two dozen of his colleagues in activities at the Club, and within a couple of months, he was welcomed to the Board of Directors at BGCDC. During his tenure on the board, Paul introduced our CEO to high-net-worth individuals and opened doors that were previously inaccessible. Because of his efforts, the Club secured approximately $3 million in cash and in-kind donations to support our local kids. Paul moved away from Madison in 2021, but his generosity and support for BGCDC have never wavered. Whether he lives in Madison or not, Paul continues to be one of our biggest supporters, always finding ways to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. Paul Tonnesen has stepped up in an extraordinary and impactful way, leaving a lasting legacy and making a profound difference in the lives of countless young people and families. His unwavering support and dedication are deeply appreciated, and his contributions will continue to benefit the community for years to come.

  • In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County is honoring 25 extraordinary individuals who have dedicated themselves to our mission, values, and vision. Starting today, we will announce one honoree each day, leading up to the White Party, where we will celebrate all 25 of these remarkable community trailblazers. Stay tuned as we highlight the inspiring contributions of these amazing supporters! Tiffany Loomis, our Senior VP of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, has been a cornerstone of our organization for nearly 13 years. Starting her journey with us as a part-time staff member in our gym, Tiffany quickly fell in love with the work and has shown unwavering dedication to the youth and their families ever since. Her passion is evident in her daily efforts, and her commitment has withstood the test of time. Tiffany's tenure is long enough that she now sees children enrolling whose parents she knew from her early days at the Club. This full-circle moment is a testament to the lasting impact of her work. We are incredibly fortunate to have Tiffany as part of our organization. She embodies passion, dedication, and commitment, serving as an inspiring example for all.
