We’re reel-y excited to announce the #ribboncutting of Netflix’s Albuquerque Studios Expansion! This new 433,000 SF facility expansion features 4 new soundstages, 3 mill buildings, a production office, 2 stage support buildings, and 2 backlot areas. We’ve been given the opportunity help design the #mechanical #electrical #plumbing and #engineering systems. Sustainable systems include 50 #evchargingstations and #geothermal heating and cooling systems. These expansions to the Netflix campus are designed to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint and make a lasting sustainable impact on the community. Vigil & Associates has teamed with A R C H I T E K T O N to provide design services to the Central New Mexico Community College for the School of Skilled Trades. The result will be a state-of-the-art, 21st century facility that serves as a centerpiece for the educational community and industry leaders to learn, collaborate, grow and innovate. The Jicarilla Community Wellness Center provides critical amenities that improve the wellbeing of the Jicarilla Apache Nation community. The project incorporates a fully-equipped natatorium with three pools, a multi-use gymnasium with sports and recreation courts, an upper level running track, an eight-lane Bowling Alley with a Youth Center and a Multipurpose Event Center. These amenities are all organized around a "light-filled, accessible concourse which steps down the site," maximizing scenic views to the surrounding landscape and San Juan mountains. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #DesignforWellbeing

The Academy School District 20 Discovery Canyon Indoor Sports Building has officially broken ground! RTA recently gathered with Discovery Canyon staff and community members to mark the beginning of construction. Scheduled to be completed in August, the new facility will provide athletes with a much-needed indoor training space for a variety of sports, including baseball, softball, and football.
