We’re thrilled to share that the new Bombardier 6500 full-flight simulator (FFS) has arrived on schedule at CAE's Dothan Training Center in Alabama. This successful milestone, for the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES), is a collaborative effort between CAE's Defense & Security and Civil Aviation teams. With training beginning in October, the CAE 7000XR FFS will support the U.S. Army G-2 Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Task Force and the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) requirements of providing timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence to tactical, operational, and strategic commanders. Over 30 CAE employees and their families gathered this week to recognize our #USA #veterans for their sacrifice and service. CAE USA was honored to attend the Welcome Home celebration of the 50th mission of the Honor Flight West Central Florida, carrying veterans from #washingtondc, back home to #tampabay via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Our employees participated with scores of others, by wearing red, white, and blue clothing to greet the veterans on arrival in a joyous recognition that their devotion to duty is valued and remembered by all in the community. Mark Ruehr, a CAE operations and maintenance instructor, had the honor to be a prestigious part of this trip by serving as the guardian for a retired Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam, and it proved to be a mutually rewarding experience. A huge thank you to our volunteers, CAE USA Division President Merrill Stoddard and the CAE Community Involvement Committee (CIC) for identifying and supporting notable causes such as Honor Flight Network, whose mission is to recognize and reward #American #veterans by flying them, free of charge, to visit and reflect at the memorials dedicated to honor the fallen. #honorflightnetwork #veterans #honor #honorflightwestcentralflorida #tampabay
