We are driven by a deep sense of purpose and operate with a clear set of values. And we believe the connection between what we do and who we are is more important than ever. That’s why we take the time to support the communities in which we live and work. A hallmark of this commitment is #Capitolis Connects, a program focused on supporting local human service organizations in New York, London, and Tel Aviv. It's an opportunity to leverage our platform and resources to support organizations that are doing innovative and impactful work in the communities where we live and operate. This year marks the fifth annual Capitolis Connects. During the month of June, Capitolis will donate a portion of all transactional revenue from our platform to organizations chosen by our employees that are dedicated to helping those most in need. To date, we have donated over $500,000 to local human service organizations and other causes. This year, Capitolis will support the following local human service organizations. Part of the Solution POTS, New York – POTS offers services to help break the cycle of poverty in our community. From meeting immediate needs to offering long-term comprehensive services, they partner with each individual to empower them to reach their potential; Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. – Grand Central Food Program, New York – The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless individuals and families; Sarcoma UK, London – Sarcoma UK is an organization that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer, and campaigns for better treatments; Michal Sela Forum | MSF Global, Tel Aviv – The MSF represents a revolutionary way of combating domestic violence through innovation and technological solutions. They are building, from the ground up, a new ecosystem of start-ups to prevent violence against women. These organizations were selected by Capitolis employees in each of our offices. We give every employee an opportunity to nominate an organization that has meaning to them, and then each office votes on which one they want to support. This is part of the purpose-driven culture we have built at Capitolis. We consider it an obligation and a privilege to build and operate a model company for a better world, and to lead by example, with intention in everything we do. As we celebrate the fifth annual Capitolis Connects, I want to thank our clients, partners, employees, and friends for joining in this journey of giving back. It was another great #Capitolis Pride Employee Auction this week as we raised funds to support The Trevor Project, whose mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people through Crisis Support, Advocacy, Research, and Education. For the second straight year, our amazing employees donated a variety of creative and interactive services and items, including a night of Karaoke, Excel crash courses, a week’s vacation in a summer house, tennis lessons and more! These offerings were then auctioned off to teammates. The auction raised over $14,000, all going to support the critical work being done by The Trevor Project. Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our team of super smart, badass, good humans who once again made this event a huge success!
