The award plaque reads: "In appreciation for your dedication, generosity, and exemplary commitment to the mission of the Carlsbad Police Department we respectfully honor and recognize your outstanding contributions. Carlsbad Medical Center's State of the Hospital 2024 Community Update event was held Thursday, May 9th at Riverside Country Club and was well attended by local healthcare providers as well as community leaders. CEO Nick Arledge and Chief of Staff Dr. Derek Senior provided updates on new technology available at the hospital and upcoming improvement projects, and were pleased to be able to introduce new providers who have joined us over the last year. We also hosted a provider networking reception. Thank you to OB/Gyn Dr. Brooke Huffsmith and General Surgeon Dr. Abi James for providing very informative presentations to our local providers. Thank you to all who joined us!
