#Safety6cess ⛈️⚡Lightning Safety Tips⚡⛈️ Lightning – it may look cool when you see it streak across the sky, but it is also an incredibly dangerous, unpredictable force of nature. Lightning is hotter than the surface of the sun and strikes the United States approximately 25 million times a year. If you see a lightning bolt, even if it seems far away, it is important to act quickly and get yourself to a safe place to wait out the storm. • During a thunderstorm, NO PLACE is safe from a lightning strike. • If you cannot see lightning but you hear thunder, lightning is close enough to strike you. • A substantial, enclosed building or a metal-topped vehicle are the safest places to wait out a storm. "Never give safety a day off." #ProvenSafe #ProvenPower #LighningSafety #Lineman #Utility #Safety #LinemanStrong

Safety Week 2024 is all about "Saying STOP!" ✋🛑 Saying STOP is crucial to our commitment to enhance safety and eliminate serious injuries while at work. By recognizing risk perception and implementing saying STOP in our daily operations, we will foster a culture that not only acknowledges risks but actively engages in mitigating them. Every employee has the right to a safe workplace and be able to perform quality work. Any employee who believes that a work activity is either unsafe or is being performed incorrectly has the authority and responsibility to STOP or SUSPEND the activity. The employee may do so without fear of retaliation by management or coworkers. Each employee is entitled to have the safety and/or quality concern addressed prior to continuing work. Remember to always be your Brother or Sister's keeper. Don't choose to "Look the other way." Say STOP. Save lives. #SafetyWeek2024 #SaySTOP #VINCIEnergies #PrimeLineUtilityServices #ChainElectric #Safety6cess #EnergyForward
