About us
Charlotte’s Web wasn’t started as a company, it started as a mission to create a world where good health is attainable for all. The Charlotte's Web extract was something we gave away to people who could benefit from it, a few at first and then many. We labor every day to make this dream a reality and dedicate all our efforts to making the most trustworthy and dependable hemp products. From our seeds, soil, and hands-on approach to farming, to our own FDA registered manufacturing facilities, our rigorous standards for quality and consistency set Charlotte’s Web products apart. That’s why we are the leader in the industry in product quality, safety, and consistency. Our high-quality hemp extract harnesses powerful botanical benefits. Our field is the science of botanics and unlocking their power is our focus. To that end, our mission remains at the core of everything we do: improve lives, naturally.

LEADING MEDICAL EXPERT, DR. BONNI GOLDSTEIN, MD, MOBILIZES PETITION TO SAVE ACCESS TO NATURALLY OCCURRING CBD 🌱 Leading California medical expert, Dr. Bonni Goldstien has ignited an online petition to rally support for her patient community and all Californians who depend on naturally occurring, full-spectrum, hemp-derived CBD products. The California legislature has proposed Assembly Bill 2223 which threatens to severely limit or ban these safe CBD products that consumers have used for over a decade. This bill aims to ban unsafe, semi-synthetic delta-8 and delta-9 products, but it unfairly targets naturally occurring CBD as well. Patients cannot afford substitutes from dispensaries due to high costs and lower concentrations. If passed as is, the bill would force families and consumers out of state to access the products they depend upon, or even worse, make them criminals for using them. They are scared, anxious and need your support. By signing Dr. Goldstein’s petition, you’re urging lawmakers to protect access to these essential products. From your digital impact to how you decorate, these are a few of our favorite unexpected ways to support the environment. 1. Clear Your Cloud Storage Mike Berners-Lee tells us that over the course of a year, a person’s average email usage varies between 3 to 40kgs CO2e. That’s the equivalent of driving up to 150 miles! While the individual contribution of emails to emissions might be small, when magnified across the world’s 3.9 billion email users, that’s a sizable chunk of carbon. 2. Plant Pollinator Friendly Gardens The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that about a third of all public water is used to water grass. Grass lawns consume nearly 9 billion gallons of water a day, and US lawn mowers consume 200 million gallons of gas. Typical grass lawns require constant care. Plus, these lawns typically provide no food or environment for pollinators or other animals and plants that make up a healthy, diverse ecosystem. 3. Clean your appliances A less crowded freezer requires less energy to run. A clean oven requires less energy to warm. A clean dryer requires less energy to make your clothes fluffy. 4. Use Safer Cleaning Products The EPA recommends going green for three kinds of products: Cleaners (carpet, glass, bathroom, multipurpose), floor care, and soaps are three of the most environmentally unfriendly products we can use. This can be confusing, so to make it easier for purchasers to identify greener cleaning products, the EPA manages the "Safer Choice" program, which certifies products that contain safer ingredients for human health AND the environment. 5. Slow down, speed racer! Driving at 50mph uses 25% less fuel than 70mph - that means that driving slowly will cut your use of fossil fuels by a quarter. Reducing weight that you carry, quick accelerations, and unexpected breaking can also reduce your emissions. What would you add to the list? 🤔 - #gogreen #environmentallyfriendly #bcorp

If you're asking, "What is CBN?" then you aren't alone. Cannabinol (known as CBN) interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS), but possibly in different ways than other cannabinoids. Much like how other hemp compounds have specific benefits, cannabinol has been shown to provide a range of unique benefits. Some of the potential benefits include: 😴 helps you stay asleep* 🛌 supports a good night’s sleep* 💤 supports quality sleep* 🌙 supports decreased nighttime awakenings* Anecdotal reports suggest that it is particularly useful for sleep, and this has been supported by several research studies. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

3 Ways that Hemp 🌱 Shows Pride: 💼 About 14% of industry employees identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community, highlighting a significant level of inclusion and diversity (about 7.1% of the total US workforce identifies as LGBTQ+.) 💚 Dennis Pearon, an open member of the LGBTQ+ community, played a significant role in advancing Proposition P in California after the passing of his partner. 😋 Mary Jane Rathbun, also known as Brownie Mary, started the evolution of edibles as we know them today with her "magically delicious" brownies. The history of hemp and Pride are long connected, which is why we are proud to be year-round partners of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. → Learn more about the Los Angeles LGBT Center when you visit their website at lalgbtcenter.org 🏳️🌈 - #pridemonth #prideandhemp #historyofhemp
