For the past 17 years, we've proudly partnered with Kaiser Permanente to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles through swimming in a program known as Operation Splash. To accomplish this, we put together a specialized task force consisting of some of Riverside's finest cannonball, pencil dive, and wave-making experts. Their mission: HAVE FUN and MAKE A SPLASH! Thanks to Kaiser Permanente's generous $85,000 grant, we're thrilled to offer swim lessons, passes, junior lifeguard scholarships, and more across seven Riverside pool locations — the perfect way to kick off summer! The City of Riverside and Eden Housing, Inc. recently broke ground for the new Mulberry Gardens Senior Apartments, a four-story building with 59 units at 2520 Mulberry St. in Downtown Riverside. This development, will include a community room, mail and parcel room, laundry facilities, and more.
