50 years ago, this week, my father came to the U.S. from India. Yesterday, I had the honor of testifying to the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee for a full committee hearing on Governing AI Through Acquisition and Procurement (during AI week in DC!), representing my position as the former CEO and Co-Founder of CrowdAI. Thank you Senator Gary Peters and Michelle Benecke, Evie Freeman, Liana Keesing and Courtney Gibbons for inviting me to testify. What an honor it was to testify alongside computer vision luminary Professor Dr. Fei-Fei Li, my former JAIC colleague Will Roberts, and Professor Dr. Rayid Ghani. Thank you, Robert Miller. You have been my partner in navigating and understand government procurement for the last 4 years. You helped me create a compelling narrative. My team at CrowdAI are all truly honored to join this amazing team and help chart the future for Saab, a global company with such a rich history of innovation, leading edge tech and a steadfast commitment to their customers and partners. I want to start with thanking Michael D. Brasseur and Erik Smith who made this acquisition a reality. What an incredible ride at CrowdAI. Over the last 7 years leading CrowdAI as the CEO and Co-Founder, I have been blessed with exceptional teammates, friends, colleagues and mentors. I want to thank my co-founders: Nic Borensztein, you have been an incredible partner everyday on this journey. You are the technical leader that was able to shape our moonshot ideas into a product and translate our AI capabilities seamlessly to our customers - and you did this well before the AI hype! Pablo G., you constantly kept the ship sailing smoothly and maintained an incredible culture. From working with the world’s largest beer manufacturer, and ice cream bar manufacturers, to  firefighters at CalFire and analysts across the Air Force, NGA and the Navy. CrowdAI’s platform transformed computer vision automation across the Fortune 500 and public sector. CrowdAI itself has left an incredible legacy:  The first AI Vendor for the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center of the DoD, Inc.
