After Fourth of July, I feel like the new school year approaches RAPIDLY! With that, I know many people are still on the conference circuit soaking up as many new learnings as they can. 🎇 🍔 😎 -------> 🏫 🎒 🖥 Here are some of my reflections from #ISTELive: Despite the overwhelming pressure to learn and implement all things AI, there was a strong undercurrent throughout the conference around ways to keep an emphasis on human interactions and connections when it comes to these emerging technologies. I noticed this in the types of recurring conversations I had with educators and leaders during and after sessions. People aren’t just looking to learn something new; they want to meet new people who can expose them to things they won’t find in their geographic community. The goal is human connection, and the learning sessions are just a conduit. 🎉 🥂 🎉 🥂 🎉 🥂 🎉 🥂 🎉 🥂 Here is to all of the people who made ISTE 2024 stellar! Sebastian Basualto Whitney Aragaki Mashfiq A.
