In 2022, alcohol-impaired driving fatalities accounted for 32% of the total vehicle traffic fatalities. Join Responsibility.org this summer as we go on the road to end drunk driving. Safety starts with each of us, and eliminating drunk driving is a complex issue that takes all of us to solve. #OTR2endDD

We lead the fight against drunk driving & underage drinking. Funded by America's leading distillers.
About us
The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (formerly The Century Council) leads the fight against drunk driving and underage drinking while guiding a lifetime of conversations around alcohol responsibility. Funded by America's leading distillers. Since our inception, alcohol-impaired driving fatalities have decreased by 37%, and 30-day alcohol consumption among 8th graders, 10th graders, and 12th graders has declined by 61%, 50%, and 35% respectively since 1991. While we cannot lay claim to all the progress, our contributions continue to make a strong impact in the fight against drunk driving and in delaying the onset of alcohol consumption by America's youth.

Alcohol delivery services have been a growing option for adults who purchase beverage alcohol, and as summer approaches, this trend is expected to continue. It's imperative that these to-home deliveries, from local retailers and restaurants, are done in the most responsible manner possible, so we have created the CORE FOUR—a quartet of guidelines that all alcohol delivery services should commit to adopting in order to exhibit their dedication to the safety of customers and rules compliance.

The group discussed underage drinking prevention efforts and mental health to assist us in mapping out strategies to help educators and counselors effectively communicate with their students about saying "YES" to healthy behaviors. #PreventUnderageDrinking

More than four in five Americans (78%) think it is easy for a person under 21 to get alcohol. Let’s change that! Never serve, supply, or sell alcohol to anyone under the legal drinking age🙅 It’s unsafe. It’s illegal. It’s irresponsible. #WDST #WeDontServeTeens
