We are thrilled to announce that HA International is now a proud member of the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society (NFFS)! Established in 1943, the NFFS is the principal North American trade association representing aluminum, brass, and bronze foundries and ingot manufacturers. NFFS member foundries utilize virtually every casting process, including sand, permanent mold, investment, continuous cast, centrifugal, and die-casting. While aluminum and copper alloys (brass and bronze) are the primary metals cast, some foundries also work with magnesium, zinc, and other non-ferrous materials. We look forward to leveraging the NFFS's extensive resources and expertise to drive innovation and excellence in our offerings. Last Saturday, HA was thrilled to participate in the 2024 Jerry Nagel Golf Classic organized by the AFS Texas Chapter at the beautiful Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. We had the honor of teeing off alongside Stan Bass, David Emmons, and his son Dylan. A huge congratulations to Stan Bass for clinching the closest to the pin competition and our entire team for securing 2nd place overall with a score of -4 68. We recently celebrated a significant milestone—the 50th anniversary of our Resin Coated Sand Facility in Oregon, IL. On April 26th, 1974, we produced our first batch of resin coated sand, and since then, we've been leading the way in the foundry industry. The celebration was a fantastic gathering of around 100 people, including our dedicated employees (both current and retired) and our valued customers. The day was filled with engaging presentations, guided plant tours, and plenty of fun—complete with food, games, and party favors. Plant Manager Sly McGlown captured the essence of the day: "With a world-class culture, you get a world-class facility. I am very blessed to have the team that we have." Our CEO, Gordon McNeilage, reminded us, "It’s all about the people. Buildings like this, facilities like this, operations like this, they run on the hearts of the people." Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey.
