We organized morale-boosting BBQs for our Central Valley locations in Bakersfield and Tehachapi. These gatherings provided a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with our drivers, expressing our gratitude for their tireless efforts. As we geared up for the upcoming long weekend, we engaged in heartfelt conversations, checking in on their well-being and family life. Their positive response underscored the value of these personal interactions in fostering a supportive and appreciative work environment.

Congratulations to Michelle M. who drives out of our Mission plant. She is one of our best and the proud recipient of our new flagship mixer truck.

Holliday Rock was honored with an honorable mention at the Concrete Cares Award Luncheon during the NRMCA Group's Annual Convention in Tampa, FL this week for our outreach and relationship we have with our local law enforcement. With this award, we were given a donation which will go to the HANDICAPPED PETS FOUNDATION. Vice President of External Affairs, Martin Hansberger, accepted the award and was also appointed as a new board member for NRMCA. Go Marty!! We are thrilled for the recognition and excited for the opportunity to serve on the board. #concretecares

Women In Construction Week 2024! 👷♀️

Congratulations to the Upland team for successfully passing their MSHA inspection last week with ZERO violations. This is a remarkable achievement for a facility of such size and you all should feel very proud of your accomplishment! the team celebrated with a pizza party! #safety #teameffort

What an incredible night this past Saturday was at the Toyota Arena, Ontario Ontario Reign Hockey Game. They hosted their annual Teddy Bear Toss night and employees of Holliday Rock attended the game with their families and friends. We are proud to share that Holliday Rock took part in this special event by donating 75 teddy bears, which were thrown onto the ice after the Reign scored their first goal! These bears will be given to local organizations that support youth in need during the holiday season. Thanks to all who attended the game and participated in this fun initiative.  #givingback #communitysupport

Exciting Times at Holliday Rock! Today, we divided our incredible female workforce into three groups and embarked on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our local SASG mining site, our Mt. View and Foothill Rock Plants, and our Foothill Concrete Batch Plant. Each group experienced a thorough exhibition of our mining methods, our 8000-foot-long conveyor belt system, rock piles, new projects and improvements, and of course, the amazing, finished products we deliver to our valued customers! This tour wasn't just about showing the incredible work we do, though. It was also an opportunity to demonstrate how each person's contribution plays a vital role in our collective success. #BreakingBarriers #WomenInMining
