  • 🎆 Happy Fourth of July from Lakefield Veterinary Group! 🇺🇸 We hope you and your furry friends have a fun and safe celebration. Fireworks can be frightening for pets, so here are some tips to keep them calm and comfortable: Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy, quiet area inside your home where your pet can retreat from the noise. Close Windows and Curtains: This can help muffle the sound of fireworks and prevent pets from seeing the flashes of light. Use Calming Aids: Consider using calming treats, pheromone diffusers, or anxiety wraps. Play Background Noise: Turn on the TV, radio, or a white noise machine to help drown out the fireworks. Stay Calm: Pets can pick up on your anxiety, so remain calm and act normally. ID Tags and Microchips: Ensure your pet’s ID tags and microchip information are up-to-date, just in case they get scared and run off. Wishing you all a fantastic and safe holiday! 🐾❤️💥 #FourthOfJuly #PetSafety #LakefieldVet
