Entrepreneur | Board Member at All Star Healthcare Solutions | Immediate Past President, National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations | Board Member, YPO Palm Beach

Over the last two days, NALTO -- National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations board members and our legislative committee have been hard at work in Washington, D.C., advocating for HR 5208, the “Health Care Provider Minimization Act”, introduced by Earl “Buddy” Carter of Georgia. Our commitment to improving patient access and healthcare delivery has never been stronger. A special appreciation goes out to Kian Modanlou, MD FACS, who took time away from his busy CO practice to join our group and advocate for the physicians who continue to provide care as a locum tenens physician (often in rural areas and communities desperate for providers). His insights and dedication were invaluable in our discussions with Congressional Members and staff. Other NALTO members stepping up were Anthony Szydlowski of All Star Healthcare Solutions, and Edwin (Eddie) W. Christensen and Autumn Begay of CHG Healthcare. The support we’ve garnered for HR 5208 is a testament to the power of collective advocacy and the dedication of our members. Together, we are making a difference in the healthcare landscape. But we need all of YOU to get involved by contacting your representatives and asking them for their support. You certainly do not need to be a part of this industry to care about healthcare access, healthcare equity, or care for our veteran population in the VA system. In that spirit, please visit the NALTO website (www.nalto.org) for more information on supporting our efforts (as well as access our portal for quick and easy contact with your representatives!) or feel free to contact me directly for details. Thank you to everyone involved for your unwavering commitment and passion. Let’s continue to push forward and make an impact! 🇺🇸 💪🏛️ #HealthcareAdvocacy #NALTO #HR5208 #PatientAccess #HealthcareDelivery #LocumTenens
