As our profession knows firsthand, mental health impacts people globally but is particularly felt by those in helping professions. As part of our efforts to support all aspects of Associate health and wellbeing across our practices, we've invested in a growing network of more than 20 in-house licensed social workers who directly support Associates and clients in our clinics. To help shine a light on the growing field of veterinary social work and why it's so important, our mental health and wellbeing lead and licensed clinical social worker Lisa Stewart-Brown shared her perspectives with Social Worker Advocates Magazine. Collaboration is key when it comes to driving meaningful innovation in the veterinary profession. Our own Brian Garish shared his perspectives during engaging discussions with fellow industry leaders at Petcare Innovation Europe this week—a meeting of the minds that's sure to spur impactful change in the industry and within our family of practices.
Sustainability, AI, collaboration, and innovation—all energizing topics for a fantastic conference in Berlin! Many thanks again to Petcare Innovation Europe for inviting me and my Royal Canin colleague Claude Ecochard 埃科 to join a panel discussion led by Leonor Ladeira on the Biggest Opportunities Across Pet Health, Nutrition, Products and Services. When I think about how we serve our common Mars Petcare Purpose—A Better World For Pets—we carry a responsibility to exemplify how businesses ought to behave to ensure pets, people, and the planet thrive. I’m still energized by the fantastic dialogue, powerful questions, and connections made—and look forward to putting insights into action at Mars Veterinary Health! #proudlymars #marsveterinaryhealth #proudlymvhasia #abetterworldforpets #vetmed #berlin #germany #pci #pcieu #petcareinnovation
