"Mem helps me uncover connections between my past ideas, find information even if I can't remember the exact keyword, and create content based on my existing knowledge." — Ryan Hidden, JD We sat down with founder and CEO Ryan Hidden to learn more about how he leverages frictionless capture and Chat in Mem to unlock the insights behind his saved knowledge. Ryan, founder and CEO of an AI consulting agency, has been using Mem as a central repository for his notes, whether they're fleeting thoughts or fully-fledged ideas. "There are a lot of ideas that come to me when I'm least expecting it," Ryan shared. Mem's frictionless capture allows Ryan to quickly jot down anything that comes to mind, even if they aren't fully-formulated, without worrying about organizing them right away. Ryan also uses Mem's built-in integrations to save any piece of knowledge he comes across on the internet, whether it's a podcast transcription, X (Twitter) post, or blog article. "There are so many ways to get data into Mem." Ryan uses Mem It for X (Twitter) to capture interesting X posts, email forwarding to save emails, and the Mem iOS app to take notes on-the-go. What supercharges Ryan's workflow is Chat in Mem. Chat synthesizes all the information he's captured across his notes to help him connect past ideas and generate new content, from cold outreach emails to new blog posts. He calls this "the frictionless capture to content creation loop." "I recently put together a blog post about how small businesses can get started with AI and automation," Ryan shared. To jumpstart his thinking, he used Chat as a thought partner. "I asked Chat, 'I'm thinking about writing about AI and automation. What do I already have saved in my knowledge about this topic?'" Chat combines the latest in generative AI with the existing information stored in your Mem account, making it the perfect creative collaborator. Ryan continued the conversation with questions like "What am I missing?" and "What else can I add?" This back-and-forth helps him refine his ideas and enrich his content with deeper insights and perspectives. By importing, connecting, and saving more knowledge to Mem, you’ll unlock Mem’s potential to answer questions, jam on ideas, and and create content — specifically for you.
