Middough is happy to announce the addition of Justin Pappas to our Chicago office in a Senior Specialist role. With over 25 years of experience, Justin began his career in the HVAC industry as a service/installation technician before co-founding a successful HVAC company serving 400+ clients. Transitioning into the engineering sector in 2012, Justin worked on Pharma-Bio and Refining industry projects with industry giants like BP, Kennecott, and AbbVie. Specializing in various piping tasks—from P&IDs to plant layout and design—Justin recently led a small team on multiple relief suite and application standards projects for Marathon. Justin’s role at Middough will involve leading a small team of piping employees in developing construction documents as deliverables. Tasks include creating 3D models, demo packages, tie point lists, Bill of Materials, and IFC packages for Turnaround and Non-turnaround projects. Justin is responsible for issuing these documents to both clients and contractors. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and working on classic cars. Middough is happy to announce the addition of Scott Siatkowski, PE, to our Cleveland office in a Director - Senior Project Manager role. With over 20 years of experience managing capital projects in various industries such as chemicals, power, food and consumer products, and manufacturing, Scott has extensive experience in large-scale process design for new facilities and major modifications to existing brownfield facilities. His proficiencies include building client relationships, large project management, FEED/FEL planning and methodology, process simulation and design, and mentoring. Scott's role at Middough involves strategic planning and coordination with marketing and business development to develop and execute business plans aimed at expanding Middough's presence in the chemical and power industries. He will lead the development of client relationships, portfolio management, FEED planning, and communication to manage client expectations as well as direct internal Middough processes for effective project execution. Scott will also mentor project managers and process engineers in best practices. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Outside of work enjoys quality time with his wife and puppy and loves hiking, biking, and taking walks in the park. Additionally, he is an avid investor and spends time reading investment theory, screening stocks, and performing valuations. He enjoys woodworking and learning carpentry skills. When not vacationing, Scott spends his days off working on home improvement projects.
