“Ducktor” Munson 🦆 and Munson Healthcare were proud to compete in the Traverse City Optimist Club Corporate Duck Race at the National Cherry Festival, raising funds to support area youth in the Traverse City area. Ducktor Munson was awarded first place for Best Logo Placement and Second Place for “The Duck That Quacks Us Up” (aka Funniest Duck). Lots of quacks were had in this fun event!

Please congratulate the most recent graduates of the Medical Assistant apprentice program! This apprenticeship, a collaboration between Munson Healthcare, Michigan Works! and Baker College, provides a wage and free tuition for those selected each spring. Our nine recent graduates attended school through Baker College while simultaneously working as a Patient Care Technician in a Munson Healthcare primary care or urgent care office. After sitting for the American Association of Medical Assistants credentialing exam this May, they have been placed in with local practices where they will spend two years learning and growing in their new careers.
