Congratulations Mindy Dodge, our Senior Director of Aquatics, for being honored as the 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 by Association of Aquatic Professionals!🏅 The ripple effect from Mindy's contributions in Charlottesville is immeasurable: In the past 12 months, our aquatics department has served more than 1000 students with Learn to Swim and water safety programs, certified 111 lifeguards, 30 swim coaches, and more than 100 community members and staff in first aid/CPR and AED. 🏊🏊♀️🏊♂️ Thank you, Mindy, for your leadership and passion for making swimming accessible and safe for all.

THANK YOU to the Association of Aquatic Professionals for awarding us 25 lifejackets! This contribution allows us to further promote safe swimming practices and ensures everyone enjoys the water securely. From setting up ornaments to stringing lights, everyone played a part in making our Y merry and bright! 🌟🎁

We are proud to announce the promotions of these exceptional individuals within our YMCA family. Their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and we're thrilled to see them take on these new roles. 🏫 Alexis Henderson is stepping into her role as the After School Site Director at Greenbrier with enthusiasm and dedication. Her leadership will surely benefit the children and families in our care. 🌟 Brandon Magan, our Membership Coordinator at the Brooks Family YMCA, has shown incredible versatility, beginning at the front desk and then demonstrating his talents in Stay & Play and Youth Sports. We're excited to watch him continue to shine in his new position. 🏊♀️ Hannah Ferguson, our new Aquatics Coordinator, began her YMCA journey as a lifeguard. Her hard work, dedication, and passion for aquatics have brought her to this well-deserved position. These promotions are a testament to their commitment to our YMCA's mission.
