Reed Children’s Center has been known and respected for high quality treatment of traumatized and " at risk" children throughout Erie County, the state of Pennsylvania, and beyond. We offer a full continuum of care for children and families . We are committed to creating a safe, therapeutic and healing environment to promote positive changes, resiliency and success. Our entire organization, from direct care to administration has committed to adopting the Sanctuary Model of trauma informed care.

The team from Farrell Roofing has been hard at work since May 7th, replacing the 30-year-old roof over the gym and main building at the former St. Ann’s School! The roof replacement is the last major component of our $600,000 St. Ann’s Campus Enhancement: Phase #1 project. We’d like to send a special thank you to the three major donors who helped make this roof replacement possible – UPMC Health Plan, C.A. Curtze Co., and Knox Law Firm. Their $130,000 in total contributions through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program makes all the photos you see here possible! Fun fact: St. Ann’s School was built in 1925, and Sarah Reed Children’s Center purchased the property in 1986. The teachers, behavioral counselors and staff at our St. Ann’s Campus provided educational and behavioral programming to over 100 students this year. www.SarahReed.org

Laying insulation on St. Ann's Sarah A. Reed Children's Center roof this morning, Day#10 making great progress on this beautiful day at our campus on Erie's East Side in the Pulaski-Lighthouse District. Closing in on completing the job this week, this will greatly enhance the insulation in the building which should help our heating and cooling bills. #insulation #economicdevelopment #preservation
