Sherman Oaks Hospital participated in the Region 10 Mass Decontamination Exercise and Drill hosted by Encino Hospital Medical Center This was a multi-agency exercise involving the Region 10 San Fernando Valley Disaster Hospitals along with other local community hospitals and LA County Emergency Medical Service Agency and with the special participation of the California National Guard. This was a joint response to a large-scale HazMat incident in the community and tested each facility's ability to conduct Decontamination operations. Training, education, exercise, and drills such as this one can save lives because first responders and hospital staff are prepared for disasters - whether natural or man-made. #ShermanOaksHospital #SOH #DeconDrill #LACounty #SFValley
