Meet Bryan Cubero, a valued member of the Bergen team since December 2023! Bryan works at our North Bergen warehouse in New Jersey, USA as a packing associate. When asked what he likes about working with us, he says “I am happy to come here every day. I’m happy to work here for as long as they need me to. A job I’m very appreciative of having. I’m so grateful that I found something that adds value to my life.” Outside of work, Bryan is interested in games and playing online and socializing with his friends. Bergen Logistics is proud to have partnered with Spectrum Works, Inc. for bringing him to our team. 👏 When asked what Autism Acceptance Month means, he stated “When I was a kid, there was no concept of autism. Of course being autistic, it wasn’t an easy time for me. Celebrating a milestone moment! 🎉 We recently had the honor of commemorating our expanded partnership with Rent The Runway at an Autism Acceptance Day event held on site, where even the Mayor of Secaucus stopped by to show his support for our collaborative efforts in fostering empowerment and inclusivity! Not only did we celebrate the power of diversity in the workplace, but we also recognized the invaluable mentors who've played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of Spectrum Works students into their roles. Building on the success of our initial collaboration, this expanded partnership involves a tailored employment program at Rent the Runway’s Secaucus, NJ fulfillment center, designed to harness the talents of autistic individuals and integrate them into various roles within Rent the Runway. Spectrum Works is providing specialized training and support, ensuring a smooth transition for neurodiverse employees as they become valued members of the Rent the Runway team.
