My father-in-law passed of ALS. Last night Steve Gleason was honored with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2024 ESPY Awards. I know the fight Steve is going through. My heart also went out to his son who helped accept the award on his behalf. Team Gleason, through its diverse and broad-reaching programming, brings assistive technology, equipment, and robust support services into the hands of ALS patients – with a goal of helping individuals with ALS not just survive but thrive after a devastating diagnosis. https://teamgleason.org/

This is generally the time of summer most start to take their holiday. Before, during and after the 4th of July (for most located in the USA). Enjoy the time off, enjoy family and recharge. We are still around. But we want to thank our candidates for being patient and we hope you are also taking time to spend with family and friends. The TalentHunter Team

WOW! Czechia vs. Turkiye game... I will not ruin it for those who have not watched yet, however the referee let things get a bit out of hand. Another professor lesson for today, if you think things are out of control, pick up the phone, schedule a meeting, take a pause. Breathe. Reset.

We placed David White almost 2 years ago with RTI as a Senior Vice President of Technology. I learned during our interview prepping conversations that he is an avid cyclist. This is a great post; hope you had a great ride celebrating Juneteenth with your cycling family. David White https://lnkd.in/erecdbQf

Both of my properties are near the woods. Although I also enjoy the beach. But this is good information about connecting mental health with nature and away from information overload.

From a county where only about a quarter of students go on to pursue higher education, a group of juniors and seniors spent the day on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus to consider college and careers that could help them soar — around the world or close to home. You get one chance at life. In this case, Jeff got 2. Jeff is my husband's uncle. I remember we were at a TalentHunter dinner in Leesburg, VA when Jeff's wife called telling us what had just transpired. Jeff and my husband now own a beautiful, upgraded cabin in Luray, VA. It was both of their dreams to continue to find their "dream hunting/fishing cabin". Never stop dreaming and growing, you never know what tomorrow will bring. Have a great week heading into Memorial Day weekend. https://lnkd.in/efDhaHFp
