Tronox released an incredible children's book, which I’ve only just got my hands on and I couldn't be more thrilled! It’s Called Tony & Tess Make TiO2. Thank you Paul Parker BEng (Hons) CEng FIET It gives me the opportunity to read to Theo about the fascinating process of how Titanium Dioxide is made. Watching his eyes light up as he learns about daddy's work and the wonders of chemistry is truly heartwarming. This book is such a brilliant way to introduce the little ones to the world of science and inspire future chemists. What an amazing idea! Well done to all involved🔬 #ProudDad #FutureChemist #TitaniumDioxide #WorkAndFamily #Inspiration #ChildrenBooks #ScienceForKids

https://lnkd.in/edzrdm_h We would like to congratulate Cassie Lindsay, a full-time Operator at Tronox’s Bunbury Pigment Plant’s Australind site, who recently completed her Certificate III in Resource Processing in just 12 months as well as obtained her boiler ticket and other industry-specific training during this time. We take pride in backing initiatives that enable individuals such as Cassie to thrive in their careers.

✨ Celebrating Success in Training and Development! ✨ We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of Cassie, a full-time Operator at Tronox’s Bunbury Pigment Plant’s Australind site. Cassie recently completed her Certificate III in Resource Processing in an impressive 12 months, half the nominal term, while simultaneously obtaining her boiler ticket and other industry-specific training. Cassie's accomplishment marks a significant milestone as the first Operator to complete this qualification through our Managed Services Arrangement with Tronox. This program, an extension of our national apprentice and traineeship initiative, underscores our commitment to fostering talent and skills development within the industry. Following the early success at Australind, the program was expanded to include Tronox’s Bunbury Pigment Plant’s Kemerton site. This expansion wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of Programmed Training Services, Combined Team Services, Tronox’s Learning and Development Team and the rest of the Tronox crew who supported Cassie’s learning each day. Special recognition goes to Lindsay James (pictured), the Trainer Assessor from Combined Team Services. Lindsay's wealth of industry knowledge and extensive experience in the local mining sector have been instrumental in Cassie's journey and the overall success of the program. Lindsay, your dedication is truly appreciated! At Programmed Training Services, we are proud to support initiatives that empower individuals like Cassie to excel in their careers. This achievement exemplifies our ongoing commitment to industry-leading training and development. #TrainingandDevelopment #SkillsDevelopment #ResourceProcessing #Tronox #EmployeeAchievement #Collaboration #IndustryKnowledge #MiningIndustry #CareerGrowth

TiO₂ pigment provides high visibility and reflects light back to its source, making road lines easily visible at night, due to its superior brightness.TiO₂ contributes to better road safety by helping prevent traffic accidents and is a key factor in meeting specific road marking standards. This, combined with other road safety measures, has contributed to a significant decrease in road fatalities in the EU since 2010. https://lnkd.in/erYVJrZC

Did you know titanium dioxide (TiO₂) plays an important part in road safety? Because of the qualities of TiO₂, it creates bright white paints which are used for road markings the world over. The brightness ensures drivers can see road markings even at night or in poor conditions. Read more about this innovation on our website: https://lnkd.in/eqEUKtaQ  #TitaniumDioxide #TiO2 #Paints

As the northern hemisphere gets into summer, here is your reminder to wear sunscreen! Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is an important ingredient in sunscreens as it is extremely efficient at protecting against all aspects of UV light that can affect skin by absorbing and scattering both UVA and UVB rays. Leading lifestyle and consumer magazine, Glamour, has helpfully identified several sunscreens containing TiO₂ to ensure your skin is protected when the sun is out.  #TitaniumDioxide #TiO2 #Sunscreen https://lnkd.in/g5zbr3Fn
