Our shelter and housing services, and 24/7 resource and crisis line, will remain open and operational, and can be reached at 612-825-0000. Offices will reopen on July 5 at their regular times. Happy ~almost~ Juneteenth! Yesterday evening, Tubman held our annual Juneteenth celebration for program participants at our Maplewood shelter, and it was a blast! Games, music and dance, and soul food prepared by Whole Soul MN made it extra special. Many thanks to Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance/Minnesota Stroke Association, Nubian Moms, and Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties for coming out and having resources for families; and thank you to Titambe West African Dance Ensemble of Minnesota and Afrocontigbo African Contemporary Dance for performing and kicking off a series of dance and drum workshops beginning this summer!

St. Paul Saints Baseball games are always full of surprises! Thank you to long-time supporters of Tubman, McGough Construction, for believing in our mission of safety, hope, and healing! Tonight, McGough COO Brad Wood and his wife Colleen McGough-Wood presented Tubman CEO Jen Polzin with a check for $50,000 to directly support our capitol improvements at Harriet Tubman Center East in Maplewood!
