#Neuroscience research has traditionally relied on primary neuronal cell cultures, which can be limited and challenging to work with. This is particularly critical in drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, where robust and scalable models are essential. Stem cell-derived neurons, particularly human iCell® Neurons, offer a scalable solution, addressing the limitations of primary cell cultures. These neurons provide a physiologically relevant environment for studying human drug targets in terminally differentiated, postmitotic cells.
