We are a world connected — that’s why we’re boldly responding to the displacement crisis and its impacts on communities around the world, likely including your own. On the blog, learn how our “here and there” approach meets urgent needs in Ukraine, DR Congo, Sudan, at our southern border and in communities throughout the U.S. “After decades of serving displaced communities “here and there,” our passion for and dedication to this work is driven not only by recognizing those experiencing displacement as precious image bearers of God, but as our neighbors, friends and coworkers. People whose fates and stories are inextricably linked with ours…” Read more on the blog: https://bit.ly/3zwVofo #displacementcrisis

Our hearts go out to the families affected by the missile attacks on Ukraine that killed dozens of people and damaged a children’s hospital in Kyiv on Monday. Please pray for those who have lost loved ones and for Ukrainians in the U.S. whose hearts are torn by the suffering in their country. For decades, World Relief has been welcoming Ukrainians seeking safety in the U.S., and we have been assisting those impacted by the recent war in Ukraine since its earliest days. In the wake of this tragedy, we bow our heads in prayer with and for them. #ukraine #prayforukraine

Today is Independence Day in the U.S. But did you know it’s also Liberation Day in Rwanda? Or that July 6th is Republic Day in Malawi? On the blog, you can read more about 12 Independence Day celebrations around the world. At World Relief, we have the privilege of being in community with people from all over the world. As a multicultural organization, we see God’s fingerprints stamped within each person and people group’s unique makeup — not only in image and likeness but in tongue, tribe, nation and being. One of the ways we can celebrate each other and our cultures is by learning more about the history and places where we each come from. Head to the blog to read more: https://bit.ly/4cF53ie

After 5 years living on different continents, Chantal, a World Relief Quad Cities team member, and her husband were finally reunited here in the U.S. last month. This joyful moment reminds us of the impact we can all make together. #reunited #reunion #welcomerefugees
