Position: Machine Operator/Technician Level 1 in Training Location: Beaver Dam, KY Pay: $16 - $18 an hour WPT Nonwovens Corp is a leading manufacturer of American-made nonwoven fabric serving global markets such as medical, hygiene, and filtration products. We specialize in customizing products from concept to commercial launch. You see our products every day in items like diapers, air filters, and wound dressings. Role Responsibilities: - Work on a technologically advanced high-speed manufacturing line - Support technicians to produce high-quality products - Load fiber per job specifications - Make adjustments to the blend line for optimal performance and minimal downtime - Maintain bale labels for inventory tracking - Document process changes - Meet company policy for attendance and work schedule requirements - Perform other assigned duties Experience and Qualifications: - One year of manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalent Military training or education preferred - Automation experience is a plus - Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills - Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, schematics, technical documents, and safety rules - Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Physical Requirements: - Routinely lift, push, and pull 30 lbs and over - Stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally - Ability to stand, walk, perceive distance, and distinguish color - Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms - Work in an environment with moderate noise level, wet or high humidity conditions, excessive heat, extreme cold, vibration, airborne particles, and moving parts What We're Looking For: - A go-getter excited about coming to work and helping WPT produce quality products - Someone who can hit the ground running and take our operations to the next level - Someone who excels in a fast-paced environment Ready to join a company that values its employees and community?
