    Mary Harriman's name is synonymous with the start of the Junior League movement in 1901. Very rarely do you hear of her friend, Natalie Henderson, who supported her friend, Mary, in the vision of working hands-on in their community. To honor the support and friendship that Natalie showed her friend, The Junior League of Albuquerque has established The Natalie Henderson Award. The Natalie Henderson Award is given to the League member or members who have understood the need for support of their fellow League members by exhibiting compassion, hard work and dedication through positive actions and results.
