Children
Worked with children of immigrant families for whom English was not their first language. The lack of English proficiency and lack of English speaking at home, creates learning challenges for many young people. EBLO programs included tutoring children and helping them with school work on weekends where volunteers helped them with school assignments, with reading books, played educational games with them, and went on field trips with them.

Implementation of the Affordable Care Act Health Insurance Exchanges
I am proud to have helped CMS implement the Health Insurance Exchanges, aka "Obamacare", under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). My efforts included helping QSSI secure the contract to develop the Data Services Hub (HUB) portion of the Exchanges and the ACA Testing Contract for QSSI to independently test the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) front-end part of the Exchanges. My efforts included helping QSSI secure the contract to develop the Data Services Hub (HUB) portion of the Exchanges and the ACA Testing Contract for QSSI to independently test the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) front-end part of the Exchanges. During my time at eGlobalTech, I oversaw the delivery of several programs in support of the Exchanges to include the independent testing of the HUB, providing Marketplace Technical Integration Services for the CMS PMO, providing Cloud Strategic Planning and Support Services to assist CMS with management of the Marketplace Infrastructure, and Technical Integration and Support Services for the CMS Exchange Operations Center (XOC) during the Technology Surge after the systems went live in October 2013. As a result of my contributions and the contributions of many other individuals and companies, millions of previously uninsured citizens were able to obtain low-cost, high-quality health insurance by comparative shopping for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchanges.

Worked with a team of 14 other PM consultants from LMI and served as the overall 'integrator' for the team. As a result of this project, the Medicare Part-D Prescription Drug program successfully helps over 45 million people receive much needed prescription drugs and…
