    Unified for Uganda is a student run non-profit organization founded in Cincinnati, Ohio with the mission of educational and emotional support of the most destitute children of northern Uganda through a rapidly growing sponsorship program. In 2012 the company took on it’s first group of interns, myself being one of the five selected out of over 40 students who served in leadership roles in various chapters of the organization, as a way to handle the growing list of responsibilities following the…

    Unified for Uganda is a student run non-profit organization founded in Cincinnati, Ohio with the mission of educational and emotional support of the most destitute children of northern Uganda through a rapidly growing sponsorship program. In 2012 the company took on it’s first group of interns, myself being one of the five selected out of over 40 students who served in leadership roles in various chapters of the organization, as a way to handle the growing list of responsibilities following the company reaching 501c3 status and to expand awareness of U4U throughout the tri-state area. As a way to generate interest in the company the interns created an Amazing Race around Cincinnati based off the popular reality television show.
    Responsibilities:
    • Created a marketing strategy for new products within each individual chapter
    • Managed three separate committees that booked locations for stops during the race, generated media for various outlets, and created a template for appropriately conducting meetings with clients,
