Policies Aren't Evidence of An Inclusive Workplace 😲 Every time we speak with HR leaders about implementing and executing disability inclusion in the workplace, their #1 concern is always, "We just don't have enough people disclose." But I tell you, if you create safe workplaces 🛡️, provide the necessary tools 🛠️, and train managers on inclusivity 📚, the disclosure numbers will come. Fear is real. People are afraid to disclose because they see no safety nets. At best, there are policies, but no evidence of an inclusive environment. So, we put on our consulting hats 🎓, and for 12+ years, we've been consulting leaders on how to create those safe workplace environments to support disability inclusion. Your mission as HR leaders isn't to identify those with disabilities, or create policies on workplace inclusion,  but to ensure a safe environment where people feel comfortable disclosing their needs and have the accessible tools to thrive. Inclusivity starts with leadership commitment and action, not just policies. Together, we can build workplaces where everyone feels valued and supported 🤝.
