Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Job Summary:

A protein processor with five locations seeks a Production Supervisor to manage production employees, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. The role involves coordinating logistics, production, food safety, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, loss prevention, compliance, training, and development. The supervisor will work closely with the Operations Manager and other supervisors to achieve production goals and ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production to optimize yields, margins, and scheduling.
• Lead loss prevention, risk management, compliance, and employee relations efforts.
• Ensure performance standards are met, addressing productivity, attendance, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with operations to improve processes and methods.
• Conduct safety inspections and train employees on safe procedures.
• Maintain supplies, tools, and equipment, and ensure accurate production paperwork.
• Stay knowledgeable about products and equipment to maintain product specifications and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of leadership experience in food operations, preferably protein-related.
• Experience in food processing, supervisory roles, and manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office and industry reporting systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Competent in reading, interpreting documents, and basic math skills.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation:

• $75-80K base salary + 10% annual bonus
