Accounts Receivable Credit/Collections Specialist

Doggett, a John Deere Dealership, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is seeking a highly motivated, well-rounded individual to fill an Accounts Receivable Credit / Collections Specialist position.

The requirements for the applicant are a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or 4 years of accounting experience in Accounts Receivables and Collections. The applicant must have excellent customer relations, problem solving skills, and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Applicant must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Job Duties Include, however, not limited to:

• Accounts Receivable portfolio for Doggett Services.
• working knowledge of the Texas and Louisiana Lien Law process.
• collection calls/emails on past due accounts and enter notes in the system.
• short payments/disputed invoices and work with sales department to resolve issues.
• invoice copies, complete credit request inquires and update tax information.
• credit approval for charges for receivable accounts held by Doggett.
• out demand letters and prepare files to be sent to outside collection agency.
• up cash accounts and update account information.
• monthly statements.
• cash receipts, ACH payments, credit card payments and enter adjustments.
• Credit Management with projects as needed.
