OR
Minimum of twenty-two (22) college credit hours and four and one-half (4-1/2) years directly related work experience.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Associates Degree and Five (5) years’ experience in providing administrative support in a legal or college setting.

Job Duties
- Manage the affairs of the office of the General Counsel including management of attorney
support.
- Proficient in drafting and editing quality office communications, taking notes and meeting
- Answer phones, handle incoming and outgoing mail, be responsible for paper and electronic
- Assist in Texas Association of School Board ( TASB ) Policy Updates and local district updates to
maintain the College’s paper policy manual and the history of College policy.
- Assist college personnel with Regulations manual and process documents for online access.
- Assist in the preparation of Board agenda items and backup documents for monthly board
- Work and communicate with all levels of administration, faculty, and staff in all areas of the
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and procedures, process multiple projects,
- Provide appropriate information to persons making inquiries regarding departmental or
- Proficient in drafting and editing quality office communications, taking notes and meeting
- Safeguard highly confidential data and information related to the office operation.
- Ability to use good judgment and independent thinking to set priorities, manage deadlines
