About The Role

Come join the accounting team at WynnBET which is one of the fastest growing companies in the industry. At WynnBET, the Accounting Specialist will perform a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This will include receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, as well as tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments. A successful accounts payable clerk combines excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

This position is located in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and maintaining the accounts payable workflow process and using accounting software and other systems.
• Handling accounts payable for separate legal entities with multiple vendors.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensuring invoices are processed, recorded, and paid timely and accurately while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Supporting the general ledger accounting process as needed.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
• High School diploma required
• Associate degree in Accounting or similar field preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience with accounts payable or general accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Possesses interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company information
• Requires a willingness to work beyond the boundaries of an average workday.
• Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
