Architectural Drafter

Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented full-time Drafter to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have experience with various drafting and design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. The Drafter will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed construction documents, helping bring our architectural visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with architects and project managers to create and revise architectural drawings and plans.

·       Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software to develop 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and models.

·       Prepare detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.

·       Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.

·       Collaborate with other team members to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

·       Assist in the coordination of design changes and revisions as needed.

·       Use Bluebeam for document markup and review.

·       Create and update project documentation using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in architectural drafting; 3 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and well-organized drawings.
• Knowledge of architectural standards, building codes, and construction practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.

Helpful but not required qualifications

·      Knowledge of Sketch Up, 3D Max,

·      An associates degree or bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
