Associate (Energy Transition)

Verdonck Partners is a boutique advisory firm focused on:

• Buy-side advisory and due diligence: Support institutional investors, utilities and developers active in North American power, renewables and infrastructure
• Off-take Origination: Support clients with procuring off-take agreements (incl. PPAs and hedges) in order to maximize the value of the project at sale
• Financial Modeling: Provide clients with financial analysis including evaluation of potential capital structures (including debt and tax equity)

Job Description

Verdonck Partners is seeking an Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking or project finance (bank or developer) to join its rapidly growing energy and renewables advisory business

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling of energy projects and development platforms
• Deal management
• Conduct transaction due diligence and industry research

Requirements

• Internal motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong interest in renewables, power and infrastructure
• Minimum 2 years of project finance or investment banking. Project modeling experience is required.
