Audit Manager REMOTE - Non-Profit & Government

We are one of the premier mid-sized CPA firms in the Mid-west serving industries like technology, construction, real-estate, non-profits, government and Healthcare / Medical. We have a unique firm split into three key areas of focus - Tax & Audit, Wealth Management and Small Business Accounting.

What You Will Be Doing

Coordinate, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met

" Prepare audit strategies and assess audit risks

" Manage multiple audit or review engagements

" Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements

" Review engagement work papers

" Research accounting issues and provide solutions

" Properly plan and manage engagements to ensure completion

" Become an expert within assigned niches

" Assist in special projects assigned

" Assist with peer review planning and compliance

" Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
