Responsibilities And Qualifications

Job Summary:

  • Strategic visionary who can provide oversight to a high performing Analyst Team.
  • Responsible for understanding payment network operating rules & regulations (e.g., FRB, NACHA)
  • Must be able to execute against strict money movement guidelines.
  • Understand the key risks and controls of payment flows, make recommendations for improvements or updates.
  • Must understand the importance and urgency of taking appropriate action to remediate and/or raise awareness of breaks or violations.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy & timely reconciliations/substantiations as well as proactively resolve potential issues, with escalations as appropriate.
  • Creates and maintains an environment with intense focus on customer satisfaction and professional customer support balanced with consistent achievement of standard business objectives.
  • Work closely with cross functional partners to ensure collaboration and process efficiencies.
  • Assist in documenting business requirements that can drive business process improvements and simplification.
  • Responsible for hiring of staff and developing key business tactics and plans to ensure departmental service levels and customer satisfaction levels are achieved.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Leadership capacity specifically handling money movement and reconciliations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years experience in money movement and reconciliations.
  • Minimum of 6 years of banking or contact center operation experience and supervisory experience.
  • Must be self-directed, detail oriented, critical thinker, positive attitude, driven, able to work independently in a team-oriented and fast paced environment.
  • System savvy with proficiency MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. payment system or rails: ACH, checks, Fedwire, RTP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payment certification: AAP, APRP
