The National Bank of Malvern is seeking a Branch Manager to join our team. The National Bank of Malvern has been at the heart of the Malvern community for over 135 years. We are a small community bank with two branches. We care about our customers, our community, and our team here at the bank. The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the branch and satellite office to meet the financial service needs of customers in our community. The Branch Manager leads the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience, manage risk, and support growth. Position Overview: The Branch Manager is primarily responsible for managing the branch and satellite office to meet the financial service needs of customers in our community. The Branch Manager leads the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience, manage risk, and support growth. As a leader, you will coach, motivate, and develop your team of direct reports to achieve their full potential while providing the highest quality of service to every customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the branch
· Provides recommendations regarding improved operating systems, processes, and procedures.
· Assign duties and assisting in training personnel.
· Supervises day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the branch staff.
· Consistently promotes high levels of customer awareness and satisfaction.
· The National Bank of Malvern is committed to achieving superior levels of compliance by adhering to regulatory laws and guidelines. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
· Performs additional duties as required.
Minimum Education: High School or GED
Minimum Years Experience: 3 years in a bank supervisory position
Required Skills:
• Excellent managerial skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent cash handling skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to perform in a fast paced and or changing environment
• Ability to use general office equipment
• Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
• Driver’s license: ability to travel between branches when required
Experience with the FIS Horizon operating system preferred but not required.
