Chief Financial Officer - Consultant
NOW CFO is seeking a highly skilled CFO to join our consulting team in Sacramento. This position requires expertise in strategic financial leadership, providing comprehensive financial management, some operational functions, and guidance to our clients.

- Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, and financial risk to ensure the financial health of the organization.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, focusing on key compliance areas.
- Develop and execute effective financial controls and budgets to minimize risk and enhance investment returns.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and internal audits to assess and mitigate financial risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and stakeholders, managing all aspects of financial audits.
- Oversee investment activities and make recommendations for funding strategies.
- Collaborate with other executives to develop long-term business plans and strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BS/BA/MBA).
- Extensive experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a CFO role.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures, with a strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of operating effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Highly attentive to details, with a commitment to precision in all work aspects.
- CPA certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience in public accounting (preferred but not required).
