About Us

God’s Love We Deliver, a nonsectarian organization, is the New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of life-sustaining, medically-tailored meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. Begun as an HIV/AIDS service organization, today God’s Love provides for people living with more than 200 individual diagnoses. God’s Love cooks and home delivers the specific, nutritious meals a client’s severe illness and treatment so urgently require, with more than 4 million meals prepared and delivered in the past year alone. Meals are individually tailored for each client by one of our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, and clients have access to unlimited nutrition counseling. God’s Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of our clients. All of our services are provided free of charge to clients.

About the Role

God’s Love We Deliver is seeking a dynamic Chief Growth and Strategy Officer (CGSO) to report to the CEO and be an integral member of the Executive Team. The CGSO will work collaboratively with the Executive Team to lead, develop and implement an organization-wide strategic plan that will transform God’s Love during a period of intense and sustained growth. The CGSO will help lead initiatives that will support growth from 4 million meals annually to more than 10 million meals annually over the next few years.

Working across departments, the CGSO will have broad authority to determine appropriate resource allocation and assess process efficiencies in order to ensure the smooth and successful completion of our mission. The CGSO will design and direct efforts to improve work among departments, increasing efficiencies and improving client satisfaction.

With a deep understanding of the food, nutrition and healthcare landscape (New York City specific knowledge a plus) the CGSO will identify and negotiate strategic partnerships and joint ventures enabling God’s Love to scale and thrive. Prior experience working with healthcare policy initiatives and healthcare technology is also a plus as God’s Love grows its Healthcare Partners business at a dramatic rate.

As healthcare continues to incorporate Food is Medicine initiatives both nationally and locally, especially in the form of covered benefits for the seriously ill through legislative programs, the CGSO will work to scale operations to meet the growing number of opportunities in this space. For example, the CGSO will help God’s Love We Deliver further capitalize on the Medicaid 1115 Waiver in New York State with established partners, which will enable us to accelerate the growth of our home delivered medically tailored meal program and vastly expand our impact to serve our clients in need.

Over time the CGSO will manage the Systems and Compliance Departments.

The CGSO is a problem solver and critical thinker who will bring strong quantitative and analytical skills to the work, using data to guide decision making.
