Civil Engineering - Senior CAD Operator / Designer - Autocad Expert

Job Description

Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm has opportunities in our Irvine, Riverside, and Los Angeles, California offices for Senior AutoCAD experts with experience in Land Development.

Duties:

• Prepare site plan, plotting exhibits, and grading studies as needed.
• Prepare conceptual grading plans for small and large development projects.
• Prepare tentative tract maps and tentative parcel maps.
• Prepare presentation and civil engineering exhibits for Tentative Tract Maps.
• Assist with project coordination.
  
  

Qualifications:

Candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Senior Draftsperson should have proven design experience in plotting home products on conceptual site plans. Understands grading and street design layouts for site planning purposes.
• 3-5 years solid experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Los Angeles County tentative map and civil design standards
• Prepare site plan, plotting exhibits and grading studies as needed.
• Earthwork and Cut/Fill experience desired. Hillside grading.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Engineering experience with any of the following helpful; rough grading, precise grading, road, sewer, water, storm drain designs, plan and profiles
• Certification in AutoCAD, AA degree, or similar preferred, not required.
