Title: Business Analyst (Clinical Operations & Informatics)


We are excited to be expanding our Clinical Business Analysts group. We are looking for Business Analysts who have a passion for delivering solutions to scientists and healthcare professionals.


Successful Business Analysts will enjoy working closely with cross functional teams of scientists, clinicians, and technologists to understand their needs. They will have a talent for understanding complex problems. They will also be comfortable working in an intense, fast-paced environment.


As part of Arrayo’s Business Analysts team, you will be responsible for stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and providing visibility to upper management and other relevant project stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Definition of process maps and optimized approaches to fulfil user requirements. Write systemdevelopment-related documentation (userrequirements and associated use cases, test protocols, migration requirements, user manual, etc.)
  • Analyze clinical processes, data flows and data needs to identify solution opportunities, enhancements, data mapping and integration needs.
  • Ensure adequate communication to stakeholders and sponsors:


  1. Work closely with product owners, development teams and users to interpret solution demand, refine user requirements/stories and prioritize backlog tasks.
  2. Liaise with technicalstakeholders to organizeall development phases (sprints definition, demo, testing phase, migration, validation, go-live, etc.)
  3. Work closely with project leads and other key stakeholders to Identify and manage risks and issues associated with collected demands, report on progress and outcomes.
  4. Participate in required meetings to communicate status, outcomes.
  5. Ensure regular and efficient follow-up and escalation of actions, decisions, risks and issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry processes and regulations


  • Take active part (Business Analyst in an Agile product squad) to products deployment, improvement and/or roll- out that support the business processes
  • Liaise with end-users:


  1. Support and contribute significantly to change management activities: accompany the users through changes on their processes
  2. Understand and becomes expert in the processes supported by thesystems
  3. Lead exploratory workshops w/ different techniques (e.g. storymapping, wireframing, etc.)
  4. Collect, formalize, challenge and endorse business requirements (in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria)
  5. Present demos
  6. Organize and lead testing sessions
  7. Draft User acceptance test scripts (UAT), review and dry run with the business team.
  8. Design and write test cases and validation protocols
  9. Execute GxP validation


  • Perform deep and intensiveexploratory testing of the solutionas well as formal validation
  • Contribute to the team Agile transformation: process, ways of working set-up,tools, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Well-practiced clinical development business analysts with strong skills in user requirements elicitation and process definition for application in technology solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills and eagerness to build relationships proactively within global organizations
  • Ability to understand lab technicians, and able to provide users support on lab software. Strong understanding of R&D clinical processes and data, knowledgeable of data management practices. Familiar with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Skilled at conveying intricate technological matters to audiences with different levels of technical expertise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 4 - 6 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industries and familiarity with pharmaceutical R&D technologies, tools, and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to capture value driven requirements and translate to solution outcomes.
  • Familiar with agile and data management processes.
  • Experience as analyst, leading requirements gathering, analysis, documentation
  • Knowledgeable of industry standards and best practices, with a problem-solving mindset.
