Position Overview: Clinical Ophthalmologist/Optometrist
Role
We are seeking a Clinical Ophthalmologist/Optometrist for a full-time position in Shreveport, LA. This role involves conducting one-time Veteran Disability Exams. Key details include:
Employment Status: Full Time
Compensation: Salaried position with bi-weekly pay
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Requirements
Active, unrestricted licensure as an Ophthalmologist/Optometrist
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Good interpersonal skills and adaptability
Basic computer proficiency
Full vaccination per CDC and state guidelines
Job Responsibilities
Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus
Review medical history documentation and conduct non-treatment exams for Veterans
Document exam findings electronically for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Perform comprehensive eye exams for various conditions
Conduct Visual Field Testing as needed
